With 17 years of dedication to the field of product design, my career has been marked by a relentless commitment to a human-centered approach. I have honed my skills and expertise over the years, evolving from a novice to a seasoned professional in the ever-evolving realm of product design. Throughout my journey, my passion for understanding and empathizing with the end-users has been the driving force behind my work.

I believe that exceptional product design begins with a deep understanding of human needs, behaviors, and aspirations, and this philosophy has consistently guided my design processes and decisions. My extensive experience has not only enriched my ability to create innovative and user-centric solutions but has also fostered a holistic perspective on how design can truly enhance people's lives.

Outside of my work, I love to be outdoors enjoying nature with my family and living life life to it’s fullest. My diverse background and experiences traveling the world have helped me to develop an strong sense of empathy, problem-solving and critical thinking.

How I Think as a Designer...

Visual & Functional

Balancing form and function together. Aesthetics do matter, but so does functionality. Striking a balance between an intuitive user interface and an appealing visual design is crucial when I create an experience.

Empathetic & Observant

Before designing an experience, I spend time sitting and talking with end users to gain an understanding of their needs, desires and pain points. This allows me to be informed in my design decisions and deliver more value.

Strategic & Analytical

When designing at scale I analyze business goals and research insights while looking at the larger product ecosystem to uncover opportunities to make a bigger impact and create a seamless experience for users.

Data Led & Process Driven

As a strong advocate for a research-first approach in my design process, I use qualitative and quantitative data to identify users thoughts, feelings and actions to craft an experience that is rooted in user-centricity.

I believe smart design is when you think about how to save time, effort and money by future-proofing and re-using patterns that help reduce development timelines while maintaining market competitiveness.

Ideate, Test, Iterate and Refine

Once discovery is completed and research synthesized, I start with a concept which is thoroughly tested and validated by users before iterating and testing again to produce a refined solution.

Collaborative & Transparent

The best designs come from convergent thought and diverse perspectives and ideas. That’s why I involve engineers early and often in the design process to build a collaborative and synergistic partnership.

Systematic & Consistency

This method helps me to streamline my design process, fosters collaboration, makes products easier to maintain, supports scalability, reduces cognitive load and increases user trust and engagement.
